If the check fails

  1. Downloading a .xpi is not installation: type about:addons in Firefox and confirm Social Publisher Companion is listed under Extensions and enabled.
  2. Not listed? Select the gear icon → Install Add-on From File, choose your downloaded signed .xpi, then confirm Add.
  3. When prompted during installation, grant website access, including social-publisher-a44.pages.dev, as prompted. If that was skipped, open the add-on’s Permissions and allow website access.
  4. Choose Reload & check again above; an already open website tab needs a fresh reload for a newly installed extension.
